What I love about my life is that I have been given the grace to exercise free will and this goes for my interpretation of the term Art. I realise there are official definitions but I have never been very good at being guided, so what does Art mean to me?
For me the term Art covers so much of my life, however, I will simplify it as best I can - Art is a creative form that generates an emotional response, that can be a permanent creation such as a Sculpture, Painting etc, or a Mountain, River or another of Natures wonders. I also have what I term momentary Art, typically for me a Sunrise, or Sunset, how a stream flows, how the wheat or barley move in a gentle breeze, how a bird builds a nest - all these beautiful creations of nature fill me with emotions which enable me to be creative from the inside out. If you are wondering what I see when I talk about man made momentary Art, think about ice sculptures, sand sculptures or rock balancing. These forms of Art are short lived and ever changing and should be appreciated at the time you get to experience them for they will never be exactly the same if and when repeated.
