Acrylic Paint is a fast-drying paint made of pigment suspended in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints are water-soluble, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted with water, or modified with acrylic gels, mediums, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor, a gouache or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.
I use what is considered one of the best Acrylics on the market Atelier. I also use high quality Canvases by Loxley.
The Love of Trees
If like me you have a love of trees you would have seen not only the incredible variety of colour but the hypnotic movement when they sway in the breeze. There is much more to this artwork than at first appears.
Melting Artic Ice and Glaciers may create an incredible sight, but are also a warning. Here I capture all the movement and colour that can occur when a spectacular but horrifying Meltdown occurs.
Our British brown hare is under threat and fading fast. It is up to us to help change direction and save this beautiful animal.
Artworks for Purchase
To much noise, to many words
My mind explodes with demand
Like a storm control runs from me
Overwhelmed and in turmoil
Stop I say please please
And as I reach a point of no return
Your words ring in my ears
Close your eyes close your ears
Look within for there is a place
Where only you can reach
For it is your sanctuary your inner peace
